The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the ACS has state divisions and more than 3,400 local offices. Learn more about ACS, what we do, and our plans for the future by exploring the areas below.

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path.

This site is intended for the volunteers on our Great West Division Relay For Life planning committees to be able to access all the resources they need to plan their local Relay For Life.

ACS CAN, the nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society, is holding lawmakers accountable for their words and their actions. We demand that our leaders not only talk about fighting cancer but take real steps toward decreasing the number of people suffering and dying from cancer.

ACS Programs

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a noncompetitive walk to help fight breast cancer and provide hope to people facing the disease. Your participation will support the American Cancer Society's lifesaving research, prevention, early detection, and support programs for thousands of patients and their families.

As the first flower of spring, the daffodil is a symbol of hope. To the American Cancer Society, it represents the hope we all share for a future where cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease. You can provide hope to all people affected by the disease by participating in the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days.

Set your sights high and make every run count this season. This winter, the American Cancer Society challenges you to extend beyond your vertical limits to fund the fight against cancer. Every time you hit the slopes with Hope on the Slopes, you will raise valuable funds to support American Cancer Society-funded research, education, advocacy, and patient service programs.
